We're pleased to tell you that your support in buying tickets for this year's hafla raffle has raised £263.65 for Maggie's Centre - not bad for fundraising in the credit crunch!  A supporter also gave us £50 which she graciously told us to use as we see fit, so we've added that to bring the total to £313.65. Maggie's Centre, which offers advice and support to people affected by cancer, is campaigning to raise £3million for a bespoke building at the Churchill Hospital.  In that context, our contribution may not sound like a lot, but in fundraising terms the bigger donors are often influenced by the participation of the smaller ones, so when the centre is built, we can all be proud that we helped make it happen.

Thank you once again to the vendors for donating prizes and to you, the hafla guests, for buying lots of tickets.
