Cowley Road Carnival 2004
The parade was much shorter this year, but no less colourful. The theme was water: we obliged by undulating like waves. With veils and a breeze we could have sailed down the road, "stately as a galleon". The sun shone. Sol Samba played. Then we went back to Janet's for a libation to Hathor.
